It’s hard to give a broad overview of the extensive work we have done in Louisiana during 30 years, but here are a few illustrative samples of how we can help your organization or cause.

KEY POLICIES WE HAVE HELPED TO DRAFT AND IMPLEMENT IN LOUISIANA
  • U.S. Conferences of Mayors, Urban Strategies on Hunger and Homelessness
  • Louisiana School and District Accountability Plan
  • The Louisiana Elderly Protective Services Program
  • The Louisiana Ombudsman Program
  • The Louisiana Answers Campaign/Louisiana Senior RX
  • The consolidation of the Louisiana Assessors into a Single Elected Office
  • The Orleans Clerk of Civil District Court Recovery, Modernization and consolidation of public records and public data services
  • The Orleans Parish School Board Tax Millage Campaigns, including teacher pay increases

Our campaigns are strategic, to maximize exposure and budgeted dollars. We utilize all the tools available to a client’s campaign, whether paid or earned. And we do it all: From research to strategic planning;  from branding and design, to production of print, video, social and presentation material; to placement of earned media and paid. Our goal is to get your objectives known and before your targeted audiences.

Our clients during the past three decades of service have included the Governor's Office and numerous state departments and agencies including the Louisiana Office of Elderly Affairs, the Louisiana Departments of Education and Insurance, the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency and the Office of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, as well as local school boards, city councils, mayor's offices, assessor's offices, from Leesville to New Orleans. The Brylski Company has been retained by non-profit organizations such as the Louisiana Family Mediation Council, the Bureau of Governmental Research, the Metropolitan Area Committee, Planned Parenthood of Louisiana, and the YWCA.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
We Increase awareness, educate and incite public implementation of your strategic marketing campaign with omni-channel communication tactics, utilizing the right mix of media tools to reach your audiences.

GNOCCS – Since 2006, the Brylski Company has been at the forefront of developing quality, locally-run and managed Pk-12 charter schools in New Orleans and continues to serve as a full-range publicist for the schools which belong to this professional development organization devoted to quality and academic accountability

Plant a Million Trees – Common Ground Relief (work sample attached)
The Brylski Company developed a written media plan to publicize, promote and increase positive visibility around the initial launch of Common Ground Relief’s “Plant a Million Trees” campaign. This included the development of a press kit, brochures, collateral materials, campaign branding, as well as multiple television and newspaper interviews.

ALLIANCE DEVELOPMENT
We recruit, educate and inform the grasstops and grassroots leaders important to your communications objectives. We work with an extensive network of government and non-governmental organizations, in Louisiana and nationally.

Pew Charitable Trust, Restore America's Parks - Louisiana
In partnership with the Pew Charitable Trust, Brylski Company sustained a grasstops/grassroots alliance development campaign to grow support for funding the deferred maintenance backlog across the National Park System. Support from over 150 organizations and businesses was secured, including the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, Louisiana Landmark Society, multiple Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, along with dozens of elected officials including Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser. The effort culminated with a resolution that passed unanimously through the Louisiana State House of Representatives and Senate in support of dedicated federal funding to address the deferred maintenance backlog.

Louisiana Policy Institute for Children
Working with the Policy Institute of Louisiana, the Brylski Company led a focused, three-year fight to improve state funding for early child care and education for children aged 0-4 by developing talking points, agendas, press releases, media advisories and additional supplemental materials for multiple statewide tours and events such as Early Education Day at the Capitol. These efforts culminated in a legislative study commission that outlined the funding gap and mechanisms to address this ongoing need. Because of Brylski Company’s work on this issue, state funding has increased for early care and education, and it remains a top legislative issue today.
