EINSTEIN CHARTER SCHOOLS OF NEW ORLEANS BECOME FIRST TO REPLICATE ITS ACADEMIC AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IN ANOTHER STATE Agreement with Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel moves to State Board of Education Einstein Charter Schools, which currently operates four schools in eastern New Orleans for grades K-10, has become the first New Orleans-grown charter operator to replicate its program in another state, announced Chief Executive Officer Shawn Toranto.
Yesterday, the Arkansas State Board of Education authorized Einstein to open a new charter school in the Little Rock School District.

Benjamin Franklin High School Senior Maanasa Narayanamoorthy, Class of ’18 was awarded a perfect score on both the ACT and SAT tests.
A National Merit Finalist, Maanasa was also awarded an all expense paid study trip to Germany by the American Association of German Teachers. Einstein Makes Middle School Personal New Online Learning Platform “SUMMIT” Facilitates Personalized Learning Einstein Charter Middle’s 120 seventh graders are fully immersed in the digital age as they start the 2017-2018 school year at Sarah Towles Reed in the Michoud area of eastern New Orleans.
Each student, equipped with their school-provided computer, will complete their assignments in English, math, science, Spanish and social studies without using one piece of paper. Instead, their textbooks, assignments, and tests are all online. As they interact with their classmates and teacher, they are able to apply their skills and pace of learning to an individualized program monitored by their classroom instructor. Benjamin Franklin High School is proud to announce the following seventeen (17) seniors have been selected as Semifinalists and sixteen (16) were named National Merit Commended Scholars in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program announced by the officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). All Finalists will be considered for National Merit Scholarships to be offered in 2018.
