The conference will break new ground in unlocking the mysteries of Lee Harvey Oswald’s activities in New Orleans in the summer of 1963 and explore other topics such as David Ferrie, Dr. Mary Sherman, and the Garrison trial, according to organizer Kris Millegan. She will be the featured speaker at a one-day symposium at Loyola University’s Miller Hall, Room 114 on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 9 a.m. to noon, in New Orleans, to explore New Orleans’ connection to the 50th anniversary of the JFK murder. She is challenging New Orleans to rethink the Lee Harvey Oswald story. As a prelude to her Saturday talk, which will also feature Investigative Reporter Todd Elliott, author, A Rose by Many Other Names, Ms. Baker will tour sites important to the Summer and Fall of 1963, when she worked with and dated Oswald.
