The Cajuns are Coming to New Orleans!
And while the University of Lafayette New Orleans Bowl parties rage on, some will take the time to find out why it took them hundreds of years to get here.
Lodged among all the party stations set up for ULL at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel for the big bowl game, Host Home Bank President John Bordelon decided to squeeze in a little history. Historian Warren Perrin will be signing and selling his book Acadie Then and Now: A People's History and educating anyone who'll listen about the French exiles around the world, though best known as the Acadians of Louisiana.
