Audubon offers two unique programs, with both Montessori and French tracks, in one great school. Parents must choose a program during the application process. Audubon is an Associate Member of the American Montessori Society and is one of only three schools in Louisiana accredited by the national government of France to teach the French curriculum.
Students in Audubon’s Montessori program are instructed by specially trained teachers who direct self-motivated learning and exploration based on each child’s individual development. French program students are taught the French curriculum by native French-speaking teachers, and all classes are taught in French. Arts education is another pillar of the school, with an Arts program that includes general instruction in dance, visual arts, music and theater as well as opportunities to be placed in a ‘Talented’ program for additional formalized instruction. Audubon is a OneApp school. Applicants should go to enrollnola.org to apply. For more information, call (504) 324-7100, email [email protected], or go to www.auduboncharter.com
