Benjamin Franklin High School will hold its Open House for prospective parents and students on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at the school at 2001 Leon C. Simon Dr. in New Orleans. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school and campus, meet teachers and students and experience the diverse community of excellence at Benjamin Franklin High School, the top performing public high school in Louisiana. Franklin received the highest School Performance Score in Louisiana, making it the #1 public school in the state. Last year, Benjamin Franklin Seniors received over $36,000,000 in merit based college scholarships. Twenty-three members of the class of 2017 were national merit semi-finalists and 8 Presidential Scholar Nominees. The average ACT score was 28.5 and the average SAT was 1992. Franklin accepts NOCCA students and offers 40+ art electives.
