The MAX Charter School is a Type 2 charter run in partnership with Louisiana Center For Dyslexia and Related Learning Disorders and the College of Education at Nicholls State University specializing in delivering appropriate public education to children (Grades 1-8) with dyslexia, characteristics of dyslexia, or a co-morbid learning difference related to dyslexia and as identified under Bulletin 1903. The MAX currently enrolls student from Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, and Terrebonne Parishes.
