THE C-SPAN BUS ROLLS IN NEW ORLEANS ON NOVEMBER 8 TO VISIT BEN FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL & AUDUBON CHARTER SCHOOL Students from Benjamin Franklin High School and Audubon Charter School will have the opportunity to learn about C-SPAN’s programs and resources on Friday, November 8 by stepping aboard the C-SPAN Bus during a stop on its fall tour. The visit is extra special as officials from C-SPAN will visit with Brendan Gonzalez. Brendan is a Social Studies teacher at Ben Franklin High School and is a 2013 C-SPAN Teacher Fellowship Award Recipient. The C-SPAN Bus is helping inform communities about the public affairs network’s new First Ladies feature series and promoting C-SPAN’s student documentary contest, StudentCam.
