The Top Shelf, a program of the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools (LAPCS), will conduct a morning seminar on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, 402 North Fourth Street, Baton Rouge, LA. The session will focus on financial obligations for charter school board members, emphasizing the critical processes and procedures that must be in place to assure financial integrity and operations.
This free event is open to the public and will include a light breakfast. Current and prospective charter board members from across the state are strongly encouraged to attend.
