Einstein Charter Middle and Einstein Charter High students will led a panel discussion on Monday, November 7th from 2:15-3:30pm as part of the International Bullying Prevention Association’s annual conference at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown New Orleans.
The panel is part of the three-day conference with over 40 workshops and sessions surrounding the IBPA Conference theme, “Getting to the Bottom of It: Bullying Prevention through Empathy and Kindness.” Workshop topics range from restorative practices and health consequences of bullying to cyberbullying and cultural competency.
Einstein Charter School students will lead a session outlining Einstein’s PBIS strategy (Positive Behavior Intervention Support), school culture and expectations. Students will also take questions from conference attendees. Students participating are Jon’Nae Sylvester (9th), Terrance Giles (9th), Jadieon Bloom (8th), Yen Pham (8th), Lailian Moore (7th), Tyrell Burbank (6th) and Janae Dunbar (6th).
