The International High School of New Orleans (IHSNO) takes pride in its cultural diversity and will celebrate TET 2016 (Vietnamese and Chinese New Year) with an assembly featuring traditional dance and student performances.
IHSNO holds a series of cultural celebrations every year representing the languages that are taught at the school: Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Vietnamese and Chinese New Year (TET), French Week, Indian Day, Arabic National Day, and Black History Month.
The purpose of the TET celebration is to carry on the beautiful Asian tradition of celebrating the new year in the cultural traditions such as the money tree and traditional dances.
