Forty nine middle school students from International School of Louisiana (ISL) will receive their DELE diplomas at a special ceremony on Saturday, March 19th.
The diploma ceremony will be held in the Boyd-Cruise Room at The Historic New Orleans Collection, 410 Chartres St at 2:00 p.m. Students receiving diplomas and their families will be in attendance with special remarks by the Honorary Consul of Spain, Luis Baños.
The DELE Diplomas are official qualifications certifying the degree of competence and mastery of Spanish, granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. “We are proud of our students’ accomplishments and honored to celebrate them at the DELE Diploma ceremony” said Melanie Tennyson, CEO/Head of School for the International School of Louisiana.
In August 2013, ISL was approved as an Accredited DELE Examination Center by the Instituto Cervantes. The school is the only accredited center between Houston and Miami, and is trained to offer the DELE exams at all levels.
