International School of Louisiana to Hold International Day Parades
Uptown, Westbank, and Jefferson Campuses will celebrate cultural diversity with traditional second lines around campuses
The community is invited to the International Day Parades at all ISL campuses. Students and faculty will wear the colors and traditional clothing of countries from around the world and carry countries’ flags as they second line around campus neighborhood, sharing the International experience and celebration of diversity with the local community with bands, music, and more!
This year-end celebration is a uniquely New Orleans way to experience the essence of the ISL community and its celebration of diversity and all cultures. Students spend the last week of school studying the different nations and cultures of our world blending what they have learned with a traditional New Orleans celebration.
The International School of Louisiana (ISL) will end the 2016-17 school year with their annual International Second Line Parades at all campuses.
