ISL to Host 12th Annual Refrigerator Art Auction & Gala on Sept. 26

12th Annual Refrigerator Art Auction & Gala to benefit the International School of Louisiana
 (ISL)  

When:
 
Saturday, September 26, 6:00 PM to 10 PM
 

Where:
 
Generations Hall,
  310 Andrew Higgins Dr . , New Orleans, LA 70130  

Why:

Inspired by the humble kitchen appliance that serves as the first showcase for budding artists everywhere; this fun-filled event features an eclectic art and non-art auction, fantastic food, 
live music  and an open bar.  The  a uction includes hand painted custom-designed fridge doors and other unique items.  

Tickets:
 
General admission tickets are $75 each or $140 per couple, inclusive of music, food, open bar, and silent auction. Reserved seating with bar service also available.  


Admission to Metro Night Club following Gala included. Pre-event online and campus ticket sales close on September 18, but tickets will be sold at the door night of the event. 

New this year, guests and community members can enjoy online and mobile bidding for our silent auction.

Entertainment  includes Moroccan Belly Dance, Aerialist, and Les Rebelles Dance Group.  

Event proceeds help underwrite the Enrichment Programs at the International School of Louisiana, a tuition-free public charter school providing a language immersion education in French and Spanish.  ISL has three campuses: Uptown, Westbank, and Jefferson Parish.  
The International School of Louisiana is the only tuition-free, multi-language immersion school in Louisiana.  ISL is an “A” rated School by the Department of Education and was named a National “Charter School of the Year” by the Center for Education Reform. It is a State-Certified World Language Immersion School and received the School Award for Exemplary Education of Young Men of Color by the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color. Students at ISL are introduced to the world’s rich cultural heritage through a rigorous and expansive education taught in French or Spanish.  With its emphasis on international awareness, the celebration of diversity and community responsibility, ISL's unique curriculum strengthens basic academic skills as it prepares students for success in today's worldwide marketplace.  Learn more at  www.isl-edu.org .
