Principal Paulette Bruno welcomed back students and parents to Robert R. Moton Charter School, at its current location on Gentilly Boulevard, but all the buzz was about the new school location being prepared in North Kenilworth at 8550 Curran Rd. Moton has been waiting for a permanent building since it was displaced following Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent levee failure. The new building will be ready for students in January, 2015.
