New Orleans Charter Science and Math High School “Sci High” will hold an Open House for parents and prospective students on Thursday, November 2 from 5:00-7:00p.m. at its campus at 5625 Loyola Ave. in Uptown New Orleans. Parents and students are invited to learn more about Sci High, tour the campus and meet the faculty and staff. “Sci High” is the highest performing open-enrollment science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) school in the state. Sci High offers students cutting-edge and industry-focused STEM electives. Students have access to Advanced Placement (AP) classes, summer internships, and robotics courses. Sci High is the only public school in New Orleans to offer all three industry pathways of the Project Lead the Way courses: Engineering, Biomedical Science, and Computer Science and boasts a new Makerspace for student exploration.
