University View Academy hosting Open Houses across Louisiana

University View Academy, Louisiana top academic performing K-12 online public school, is inviting enrolled students and interested families from the Ruston and greater Baton Rouge areas to two Open Houses. The Ruston Open House will take place Friday, Sept. 22, 1 to 3 p.m. at Lincoln Parish Library Event Center, 910 N Trenton St., Ruston, LA. The greater Baton Rouge area Open House will take place Friday, Sept. 29, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Greenwood Community Park, 13350 Louisiana 19, Baker, LA.

The Open house events will give returning and new families from each grade the opportunity to meet in person and share experiences for the first time this year. School administrators and teachers are also present to meet students and explore the online charter program with prospective families.

University View Academy is a tuition-free public online charter school for all grades and open to students from any parish in Louisiana.

The school is currently accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year, where a limited number of seats in all grades still exist, and the 2018-2019 school year.

The school is proud to offer spots in their school to students who have been displaced due to the recent impact of hurricanes in Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
